Common questions

Can I try PermitMiner before paying?
Yes. The Scout plan starts with a 14-day free trial. Sign up and confirm your email and it starts with no card on file; throwaway addresses are the exception and subscribe instead. Picking a plan below sends you through Stripe Checkout instead, which takes a card up front and charges nothing until the trial ends. Cancel any time before then. Pro and Outreach bill from day one, unless you are already on a trial with no card on file: the days left on it carry over and nothing is charged until they run out. Under about two days left is too little for Stripe to hold, and there the first payment is taken at checkout.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are priced at ten months, so you get two months free versus paying monthly. You are billed once for the year and can still cancel at the end of the term. Monthly billing is available on every plan if you prefer to stay flexible.
What counties are included on the Scout plan?
Scout includes one selected county from those with available records. Your county locks in on Scout. A trial started without a card can correct a mis-tap up to 3 times before it locks, and after that a change goes through support. A trial started through checkout takes a card, so its county locks on the first pick. Pro and Outreach include all counties with available records.
How often are permit sources checked?
PermitMiner checks supported public sources every 12 hours. Publication schedules and available fields vary by jurisdiction, so a record appears after its source publishes it and PermitMiner completes a successful check.
How does in-app outreach work?
Outreach adds one-to-one personalized email, saved templates, reply routing, contact history, and a required business identity and unsubscribe footer. Connected Gmail sending is a limited beta and may require reconnection; inbox placement and replies are controlled by the recipient's mail provider and behavior.
Can I cancel or change plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.
